This is a five-story, all-precast residential structure located on the north side of Chicago. The project was developed by the EHDOC (Elderly Housing Development and Operations Corporation), in conjunction with HUD.
This project consists of exterior load bearing architectural precast walls, interior precast demising walls, hollowcore plank, and precast stair and elevator walls. The precast structure is combined with a central glass atrium area and this steel was provided and erected by ATMI Precast.
The exterior architectural panels consist of white cement, light abrasive blast, and Endicott thin brick. The architect for this project is Harley Ellis Deveraux, and was erected by Waubonsee Development.
