The Libertyville Civic Center Parking structure is located within the business district of Libertyville, Illinois. It is a three-story structure with two levels of elevated parking. The parking structure is designed for 317 parking stalls including handicap accessible spots. All products were fabricated at the ATMI Precast facility in Aurora, including both architectural and structural components.
The architectural components consisted of white cement, light abrasive blast with embedded thin brick for the spandrels, stair and elevator towers, and sill panels. Unique to this project is the cast in lettering required for entry/exit and name plates. This was achieved with specific custom mold work and unique fonts. In addition, there are elaborate stair towers with a mixture of curtain wall glass and thin precast elements with embedded thin brick that accent the main entries. The project was erected by Waubonsee Development, designed by Walker Parking Deck Consultants, and overall construction by Walsh Construction.
