ATMI Precast Hosts Newark Community High School Students

On Tuesday, April 11, ATMI Precast hosted students from Newark Community High School in Newark, Illinois as part of an outreach initiative to help foster career awareness in manufacturing. The students – a mix of junior and seniors – spent the afternoon at the facility and were treated to a tour, lunch and a bag of goodies, including ATMI Precast t-shirts. Many of the students were interested in the engineering design processes, specifically how a project starts and ends with the design. Michelle McAnally, School Counselor, said the tours were fascinating and it was great for our group to hear what is required to work in the field. “Thank you for the wonderful afternoon for our students,” she said. “They loved visiting ATMI and learning about your organization.”
